We are extracting materials from our curricula and seminar series to create an organized series of professional development modules designed to serve professionals who work in long-term care, home- and community-based services, and non-profits serving individuals with disabilities and/or elders. Faculty and graduate students in the center are involved in the development of these modules covering topics such as an overview of the QoLT Center, sensing technology applied to daily life, medical and social aspects of disability and aging, introduction to assistive technology, introduction to robotics, ethical issues, etc.
We offer these modules through live and on-demand streamed presentations and provide study questions to enhance learning experiences. Check back soon for a schedule and downloadable materials.
