As a memory coach for people with Alzheimer's Disease, MemeXerciser passively captures people's experiences as digital pictures and uses a hybrid strategy that combines computation with the expertise of the caregiver to select the most appropriate content to present as memory cues. MemExerciser provides a memory-stimulating, self-guided interaction for the person with episodic memory impairment to recollect their experiences without burdening their caregiver.

Home Guardian's Sensor System for Elderly, a suite of sensors that monitor the health status of seniors in their homes. The system includes health status (pulse and respiration) as well as activity levels and presents those data as graphs to indicate trends. It was developed by researchers at the University of Virginia's Medical Automation Research Center (MARC) in partnership with The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society and the Volunteers of America (VOA) National Services.
